Senior Portraits with Mimi in Downtown San Antonio

Hi there! I am starting up a new blog for my website. I want to share details of my graduating Senior Portraits around the San Antonio area.

All of my close community is either my age with little kids or older with kids already grown and into their own adult life. All this to say, as I am telling my community that I want to start taking Senior Portraits they automatically think senior citizens! That to me is so hilarious because they are so taken aback like “wow, I didn’t know that was a thing” well me either but because so many have immediately gone there, I am thinking, maybe that is a thing! What do you guys think?

Here is one of my first intentional Senior Portraits session! I’ve photographed Seniors in the past but not with the intention of pursuing that solely. I absolutely loved the results of this shoot! My model was so much fun to work with. Very outgoing and she put on the model face like she has been doing this for a long time. Every time she heard that shutter click she moved to another position. I’m telling you, this girl is a pro.

We shot downtown behind the Tobin Center on the Riverwalk. It was my first time shooting there and the building is very photogenic. Needless to say, we were all over that place taking pictures.
Here are a few of my favorites, hope you enjoy!
