\nIf you know our Executive Head Chef, Gary, you\u2019ll know he loves a story, a tradition\u2026 and a good sausage roll. Long before he was leading a team of chefs at Jenkinsons, he was a kid in his family kitchen learning the recipe that would eventually become this sausage roll \u2014 the very one that won Silver at the 2025 English Winter Fair.

Of course, the recipe has been refined over the years \u2014 a little more balance here, a hint of apple there, the kind of gentle evolution that happens when someone truly cares about flavour. But the heart of it?

\nThat\u2019s why this win feels so special. It\u2019s heritage on a plate \u2014 a reminder that great food doesn\u2019t have to be complicated or pretentious. Sometimes the things we grow up with become the things guests talk about years later.

We like to think that every couple who serves these at their celebration becomes part of that story too \u2014 another chapter in a recipe that carries generations of warmth and care.
